I somewhat blame the tutorial design for this. Unfortunately, a lot of people just can't handle or don't want that challenge. But the point of a strategy game is to be challenging. Most of them are from people too inept to handle the difficulty of this game.
Just take a look at the negative reviews for this game. Unfortunately, strategy games don't have as much of a broad appeal. I think a lot of it comes down to what is profitable and DST is just more profitable. This is their best game in my not humble opinion (havent played Griftlands). They made tons and tons of new content for Dont Starve that went on for years and they cant be bothered to make a single sequel to Invisible Inc.?
